Activities & results
The project’s measurable impact and activities across two years of implementation.
Targeted project indicators
We track results through concrete, measurable values throughout the implementation.
What we do in the field
Project activities include setting up grazing infrastructure, organising the production of bulk livestock feed, introducing a digital herd-management system, monitoring health and agro-ecological indicators, and disseminating results through training and practical recommendations.
The project is designed as a demonstration model with the potential for wider application on other farms in Croatia and the European Union.
- 1 Setting up grazing infrastructure and fences
- 2 Production of bulk livestock feed
- 3 Digital herd management (virtual paddocks, collars)
- 4 Monitoring agro-ecological soil & vegetation parameters
- 5 Veterinary monitoring of herd health
- 6 Knowledge transfer, education and dissemination
Expected results
A livestock production model that simultaneously increases pasture productivity and improves sustainable resource management.
Richer grasslands
Increased biomass and soil organic matter, with long-term grassland resilience.
Better water & soil
Improved water infiltration and healthier, more alive soil.
Less labour
Reduced need for manual work through digital herd management.
Healthier herd
Fewer veterinary interventions through systematic health monitoring.
Higher-value food
Increased product added value and nutritional quality of meat.
Replicable model
Applicable to other farms in Croatia and the European Union.
